Tube Torcher was a 5/5 rated urban cache located near Hendersonville, NC, that was archived in December, 2005. In January, 2007, the sequel cache Tube Torcher II was published. It is a 5/5 rated urban cache located near Asheville, NC.
Tube Torcher was widely regarded as one of the best cache hunts in the US, combining much more of a physcial challenge than your typical cache with well thought-out adventure that rubbed against some folks' phobias. It had an Indiana Jones movie theme which was thoughtfully carried out through out the hunt.
While it may not have been the hardest cache, the thought and effort put into this hunt has earned it a place on many a cacher's all-time Top 10 list.
