Signature items are personalized items made by or for a geocacher who leaves one in caches that he or she finds. Some geocachers leave a signature item in every cache they find (except those too small for the signature item). Others leave a signature item in only some caches (e.g., milestone caches or particularly enjoyable caches).
Common signature items include wooden nickels, business cards, imprinted golf pencils, geocoins (trackable and untrackable), and tokens made from polymer clay (e.g., Fimo, Premo, Sculpey).
