Sandy Creek Cowboy Series

The Sandy Creek Cowboy caches in San Diego County.

Number 3 requires the use of a 15-foot ladder. At least that is the safest size. We managed with a 12-foot ladder and one of our local cachers found it without using a ladder at all, or so we're told.

Another one is located beneath a weathered beam that looks like it has been in the location for years. The hint for that one, and many of their other caches, is most often, "O Please." For one of the other ones, I highly recommend including a pair of gloves in your caching pack. Having a friend or fellow Geocaching buddy along makes these unique caches all the more fun.

The Sandy Creek Cowboys' newest one, which has been talked about, but not activated yet, is apparently going to require a team of six Geocachers in order to log it. We are all wondering what it will be.

Assume Nothing Series

workerofwood's Assume Nothing series is well respected among San Francisco Bay Area geocachers. The owner describes them as "a series of common hides, with a twist."
