The Never Forget 9/11 series originated at the five year anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11 in 2001. Geocacher 4America posted an article to the Geocaching.com Forum encouraging others to create additional Never Forget 9/11 caches. This list of Never Forget 9/11 caches was based on the Never Forget 9/11 list at the Kansas Geocaching site.
