Here is one way to customize you map 330 to give you more room to upload a bigger detail map. The stock map 330 comes with an 8MB basemap and 8MB available to upload detail maps. With this customization you can replace the stock basemap with one that is only 2MB allowing you to have 14MB for detail map. Then you need to download the uploadserial tool from here http://www.msh-tools.com/uploadserial.html. You can use Magellan Magup or their smcup.exe program; both of these tools are usually on their mapsend software cds. The uploadserial tool is much better and more intuitive.
