What is an LPC?
The Lampost Cache (LPC) is a (typically micro size) cache that is hidden under the decorative skirt at the base of a lampost. These caches are often found in the parking lots of large retail businesses (e.g., Wal*Mart). A derogatory term for this is Skirtlifter. This type of cache is looked down upon by some geocachers, who consider them too simple, easy and unoriginal.
