Welcome!

Welcome to Cacheopedia, an attempt to create an online encyclopedia / reference / survival guide for the sport of geocaching. As this site grows, it's maintainers hope to see it into a definitive and mature source for geocaching FAQ's, articles, definitions, guides, and a whole lot more.

Who are the maintainers? You are!

This site is set up in a "Wiki" fashion. That means that anyone can contribute to the pages and articles, including making new ones, editing old ones, expanding, linking, and growing. If you want to see an article on here about something, write one! If you think that a current article needs some work, then fix it! It's all up to us, the users.

The content on this site is growing quickly. We are well on our way!

A word about logging in.

Logging in is not a requirement, although it is highly encouraged. It will be nice to give credit where credit is due.

Using the same login name as your forum login or caching name on one of the geocaching sites is also highly encouraged.

However, I would prefer that you do not use the same password that you use on another site.

How to make a new article you can do it, and it's easy!
