CITO or "Cache In Trash Out" is the ideal that geocachers should leave an area that they have geocached in better off than they found it. CITO events are often held in areas in which a geocacher or group geocachers feels could use some cleaning to create a better environment for geocachers, nature lovers, plants and animals to benefit its full potential.
