Headsets which surpopt A2DP (which the Voyager does not) will surpopt recording with most apps on the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad. More important  A2DP headsets will allow for Podcast and Music listening. I use the BlueAnt T1 and Q2. Jabra also has a few models available including the new Icon 2.
