Geocaches with a given series will tend to have some element in common. Usually this is seen in the category of location involved, such as in cemeteries or urban parks. Sometimes the similarity may lie in the type of container used. Still another category may simply be in the cache information, which is often the case in a series of [[Puzzle Cache|puzzle caches]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Usually each cache of a given series will be identified with a similarity in title, with each individual cache having an indexed number and/or unique sub-title. Often each cache will stand on its own, independent of other caches in the series; however, a cache series may be interrelated in some fashion. One example is a series where some caches provide information for another cache in the series, such as finding a given number of caches with the same amount of clues to locate one or more other caches.&lt;br /&gt;

Geocache series often have one geocaching team responsible for all of the caches in the series. However, there are series that incorporate multiple hiders. Series hidden by a single team tend to be located within a localised geographic location. Series with multiple hiders may extend over a large geographic region, emcompassing caches in different states/provinces or even different countries. &lt;br /&gt;
A  (for profit) Limited Liability Corporation, the magazine is headed up by publisher  Jerry Carter, Aka  [http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?id=12341 El Diablo.] &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Featuring a huge variety of stories and photos submitted by volunteers, the magazine has enjoyed a steady rise in readership during it’s first 15 months of publication. The Humor and People sections have proved to be most successful.&lt;br /&gt;

Because of its close relationship with GC.com,  ''Today’s Cacher'' has received some criticism about its tag line, “The Magazine for Geocachers Everywhere.” In recent months, the magazine has published stories about other websites to dispel that criticism.&lt;br /&gt;

==What is a Travel Bug?==&lt;br /&gt;
A Travel Bug is a Groundspeak specific tag which you attach to an item to create a [[hitch hiker]].  It is universal that when a Travel Bug dog tag is attached to a hitch hiker the combination is called a Travel Bug.  These are trackable online, but you can only track Travel Bugs as they move amoung caches listed on geocaching.com.  Every Travel Bug should have an aluminum tag attached to it with the Travel Bug's secret number, though rarely some will have the secret number etched directly on the item. This number is used like the GCXXXX waypoints, to find the Travel Bug in the website's database, and also to log the Travel bug online.&lt;br /&gt;

Travel Bugs are often called TB's&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

==Logging Travel bugs==&lt;br /&gt;
If you look at the tag attached to the Travel Bug, you'll see some numbers stamped on it. This is the tracking number and can be used in the online log to confirm that you actually found the bug. Make sure you write it down because you won't be able to get it later without emailing the owner. Also, keep this number secret from other cachers (unless they also find the bug) because it can be used to log the bug as found when it really hasn't been&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Enter some comments in the box on whatever subject you like and click 'submit log entry' at the bottom. &lt;br /&gt;

To drop a bug in a cache, navigate to the cache page and log your find. This time there will be a box below the description field that lists bugs in your online inventory. Highlight the bug you wish to drop (if there are more than one you can hold the ctrl key down while clicking to highlight two or more). When you submit your log the TB will be removed from your inventory and shown as being in the cache on the cache page.&lt;br /&gt;

The group started in October 2005 as a response to the desire for an active social group in Northern Indiana. Beginning as a collaboration of five geocaching couples, CINCO began hosting gatherings in November 2005. Future events are planned to be held at roughly one-month intervals in 2006, held in varying cities within the defined region. &lt;div&gt;Project APE is a series of caches placed in 2001 in conjunction with the movie ''Planet of the Apes''. 20th Century Fox worked in conjuction with [http://www.geocaching.com Geocaching.com] to release caches scattered in various parts of the world in order to promote the film. They devised a sub-plot associated with the film that was unrelated to the film itself, one that was intending to reveal an &amp;quot;Alternative Primate Evolution&amp;quot; theory. A Project APE website was created in association with the cache placements. Some props from the movie were placed in the caches initially.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The series was released under a tight level of security. The original individual cachers that placed the caches did so anonymously, under the direction of Geocaching.com officials. The caches were given Mission names, along with the number of the series (although there are two number 10's). In all, thirteen Mission caches plus a &amp;quot;Special Mission&amp;quot; cache were released. The details of the caches were released slowly, first by simply giving clues as to the state, then later the coordinates of the cache. The first finders were rewarded with a special prize.&lt;br /&gt;

After the film had left theatres, 20th Century Fox abandoned the caches. The Project APE website became inactive, and the few caches that had survived were later adopted by individual cachers. (The Brazilian cache was archived, but has since been re-activated.) The '''Central Indiana Caching Organization''' (CINCO) is a social group of geocachers in Indiana. The organization serves the general area about the cities of Kokomo, Lafayette, Lebanon, Logansport, and Monticello.&lt;br /&gt;

The group started in October 2005 as a response to the desire for an active social group in Northern Indiana. Beginning as a collaboration of five geocaching couples, CINCO began hosting gatherings in November 2005. It held its first inaugural event in Lafayette, and a second inaugural event in Kokomo the following December. Future events are planned to be held at roughly one-month intervals in 2006, held in varying cities within the defined region. The group also plans to host Indiana's [[Spring Picnic (Indiana)|Spring Picnic]] in May 2006.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The group is generally unstructured as only a treasurer's office has been created. The underlying principle of the group is to avoid problems associated with an organized hierarchy of officials. Hence the group's activities are determined by volunteers. &amp;quot;Offices&amp;quot; do exist within the group, but they are primarily for grandiloquence. (For example, one office is &amp;quot;4th Vice-President in charge of Hot Dogs&amp;quot;.)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Noting that ''cinco'' is the Spanish word for ''five'', much of the basis of the group rests on that number (''i.e.'' number of defined cities, ''etc.''). From that quality was developed the group's motto: '''&amp;quot;Five times the fun!&amp;quot;'''.&lt;br /&gt;

The Indiana Spirit Quest (ISQ) is a series of caches that have been placed in cemeteries mostly within the State of Indiana. The series was started on 25 February 2004 by [[SixDogTeam]]. As of December 2005, there are over 400 caches that have been placed by over a dozen caching teams. A few related caches exist in Ohio and Michigan, near the Indiana state line. The ISQ series is notable for creating listings that go beyond the basic cache description. The listings have historical research performed and posted on persons buried near the cache placement site, often focusing on veterans that fought in wars dating back to the American Revolution. Photographs of the cemetery and of interesting headstones are always included on the cache's listing. Notable landmarks are often mentioned and included in the listing as well. There is a common template for all listings in order to maintain a consistent appearance for the series.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The ISQ series primarily focuses on older cemeteries that are no longer active, but there are many caches placed in active cemeteries as well. Usually the placed cache is placed away from any tombstones. One major tenet of the series is that respect for the cemeteries is maintained at all times. [[Night_Caching|Night caching]] is strictly not allowed by the cache owners. The listings also exhorts visitors to re-place any fallen American flags and remove and trash from the grounds.&lt;br /&gt;

Most of the caches in the series are small caches, often [[microcache|microcaches]]. Given that they are hidden with low difficulty factors and near roadways, the caches tend to be quick finds. As a large number of caches in the series are in close proximity of each other, this has led to days where a geocaching team has found several dozen in one day. The current record is 102 finds made by four teams working in conjuction on 30 May 2005. However, a few of the series are [[Multicache|multicaches]] or [[Puzzle_Cache|puzzle caches]], which require extra time to locate.&lt;br /&gt;
